Urgyen Wangmo
Urgyen is one of our Medical Assistants and is pursuing health professional studies to become a Physician Assistant (PA). Aesthetics is super exciting to Urgyen because it is one's own self-expression and at the practice, we get to help patients achieve their goals. One high maintenance treatment combo that Urgyen loves to stay low maintenance is monthly chemical peels combined with LED. LED therapy is highly backed by research and the benefits are undeniable. Fun fact about Urgyen is that she recently started martial arts and loves it.
Front Desk
Rachel Jancarek
Rachel Jancarek manages our front desk operations and socials. She is originally from Maryland, moved to the city to obtain her BFA in drama from NYU Tisch, and has been in the city ever since. One of her biggest beliefs is feeling the best and most confident in one's skin and is thrilled to be at Dennis Gross Dermatology to help patients achieve just that. Outside of the office you can find Rachel performing, playing banjo, or out at the park looking at all the cute dogs that wander past.
Esthetician
Lara Battema
Lara Battema is a medical esthetician at Dennis Gross Dermatology. Lara is fascinated with aesthetics and the cross between how someone may appear and their wellbeing. She is passionate about excellent patient care and has been in the healthcare industry for over 15 years. A fun fact about Lara is that she loves hiking, has climbed Mount St. Helens, plans an annual weekend backpacking trips with her closest friends.
