What Is Belotero®?
With its hyaluronic acid base, Belotero® binds with the water in the skin to help plump it up and make it appear smoother. As time goes on, the hyaluronic acid in Belotero® will be absorbed by the body. Belotero® has a finer composition than Juvéderm®, which makes it appropriate and highly effective at treating fine lines or adding volume to areas of the face such as the lips, cheeks, nose, and under eyes.

What Does Belotero® Filler Treat?
Belotero® filler is FDA approved for the treatment of nasolabial folds. It's also, however, used to add volume to the cheeks, lips, chin and temples, and for the following:
- Belotero® under eyes treatment can treat hollows under the eyes
- Filling in wrinkles and fine lines around the nose, mouth, and eyes
- Filling in wrinkles on the forehead
- Correcting small bumps in the nose for a non-surgical nose job
- Belotero® lips treatment with Belotero® Balance can provide plumper, fuller lips
- Treating deep acne scars
- Contouring your jawline and cheeks
How Are Belotero® Injections Performed?
Belotero® treatment is a short and fairly painless procedure. To make sure you're as comfortable as possible, we can use a topical anesthetic, although most Belotero® products already contain lidocaine for a pain-free treatment.
Several injections of Belotero® will be made with a fine gauge needle syringe with the number of injections determined by the number of areas being treated. The treatment area may be massaged gently afterward to ensure that the Belotero® filler has spread out and to ensure a natural look.
How Long Will My Belotero® Results Last?
There are a variety of different Belotero® products available and, depending on the product, you should expect your results to last anywhere from around six to 18 months. Belotero® Balance lasts up to six months when used for lip enhancement, while Belotero® Soft and Intense products can last up to one year. Belotero® Volume lasts the longest – or up to 18 months – when restoring volume to the temples.
