Wedding Prep Skin Treatments

Timeline

One Year

To start preparing your skin for your wedding, we first suggest scheduling a consultation with our licensed medical aesthetician, our Physician Assistant, or one of our board-certified dermatologists to discuss your skin needs.
We will create an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your best skin for your wedding day. Depending on your skin needs, it may sense for you to start treatment the same day for best results. Skin concerns such as acne, acne scarring, brightening, or tightening may take multiple visits to address.

9 Months

Depending on your skin needs, you will want to begin or continue treatments 9 months from your wedding day since multiple sessions may be needed to achieve desired results. Large lasers such as CO2 for resurfacing may be recommended. Alternatively, addressing red and brown spots with devices such as IPL or building collagen with Sculptra may be recommended.

6 Months

At 6 months, you are continuing with your treatment plan and focusing on skin quality, texture, tone, and refinement. Starting to incorporate services such as microneedling for texture, Botox for smoothing wrinkles, filler to add lost volume, and customized facials and peels for skin health is appropriate. At home, you want to make sure you are on a consistent skincare routine. A consistent regimen that incorporates the right skincare products effectively supports addressing discoloration, sun damage, and tone.

3 Months

3 months before your wedding day you want to maintain your current regimen. After your initial Botox and filler sessions, you have an opportunity to add any tweakments if necessary. Additionally, you will be continuing any larger treatments to address persistent skin issues such as acne, hyperpigmentation, and acne scarring.

1 Month

One month before the wedding, treatments with minimal downtime are generally recommended such as Botox, facials, peels, and laser genesis. The focus is on skin health, hydration, and addressing any last-minute questions you have in taking care of your skin.
